More Plum Butter

Ingredients
- 8 cups chopped plums
- 6 cups sugar
- 2 tblsps cinnamon
- 1 scant tblsp each of cloves and allspice
- 2pkgs certo or surejell
Instructions
- Pit and cut plums into small chunks.
- Put plums in a 6qt.stainless steel kettle add the sugar and spices.
- Bring to a full rolling boil.
- Then add the certo or surejell.
- Bring back to boil and boil 5 minutes.
- Ladle into sterilized jelly jars.
- Make sure there isn't any jelly on rims of jars.
- Then screw lids on tight turn back ½ turn.
- Process in a hot water bath for 10 minutes.
Notes
Adjust spice to your liking.
